New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Maria's Fish Bar and Kebab House, at 2 Hill Road, Worle, Weston-Super-Mare North Somer was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 14.

And China Star Chinese Takeaway, at 37 Main Road, Cleeve, Bristol was given a score of one on December 14.

It means that of North Somerset's 129 takeaways with ratings, 67 (52%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
