Bristol-based nursery crowned as one of top 20 in the South West

A Bristol-based nursery has been ranked among the best 20 in the South West less than a year after opening.

Avon Valley Nursery & Preschool was recognised by The Day Nursery Awards within the top 20 of 1,237 nurseries in the South West.

The nursery, located in the Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park, only opened last August and offers a varied range of both indoor and outdoor activities to help enhance every child’s early learning experience through hands-on experiences and play.

They have unlimited access to the main Avon Valley park, which offers diverse play and animal interactions, as well as its own private garden, sensory areas, vegetable pots and mud kitchens to name a few.

The Avon Valley Nursery & Preschool is set to expand this summer following the success and will have 20 more places available as well as more baby spaces on offer from January 2025.

Alison Dennis, Avon Valley Nursery and Preschool director, said: “This award means the world to myself and my team.
