'A spectacular addition': New 300-capacity open-air cinema to launch near Bristol this summer

Clarks Village near Bristol is set to host its first open-air cinema this August.

The Summer Cinema will debut at the Street shopping outlet for nearly three weeks over the summer holidays.  

Launching on August 6, until August 18, the Clarks Village Summer Cinema will be located on the Alfred Gillett Trust lawn overlooking the outlet's restaurant terrace – where the popular festive ice rink was held for Christmas

With capacity for 300 guests, up to three movies a day, including a family film, will be screened at the purpose-built open-air cinema. 

Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, commented: "We are incredibly excited to announce the arrival of our Summer Cinema this August. 

“This spectacular addition is completely new for Clarks Village and brings a different and more experiential dimension to our offering for guests."
