Liam Manning is set to make changes for the Robins’ last match of the season

Liam Manning is set to make changes to the Bristol City side that comfortably defeated Rotherham United 2-0 at Ashton Gate last time out when the Robins visit Stoke City on Saturday.

Manning’s side travel to the Bet365 Stadium for their final match of the 2023/24 campaign and will be hoping to continue their promising run of seven matches without defeat.

But, the manager will be forced to make changes to the side that saw off Steve EvansMillers against the Potters.

Both Cam Pring and Matty James have been ruled out of the match after enduring minor surgery in recent days, while Sam Bell, Kal Naismith, Ayman Benarous and Rob Atkinson will also be unavailable once more.

A boost for the Robins is that Zak Vyner looks set to be in contention to return after the defender missed his side’s last three matches with a knee problem.

Vyner could be drafted in to play alongside newly crowned Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters’ Player of the Season, Rob Dickie.

Despite the Robins’ glowing form of late, they’ll face a tough test against Steven Schumacher’s side, who go into the match after a win against Premier League hopefuls Southampton at St Mary’s.

Stoke defeated Bristol City 3-2 at Ashton Gate the last time the two sides met, and the Robins will search for revenge on Saturday.
