A new rewards credit card has launched in Bristol this week with both a free and paid membership option.

Yonder allows users to earn points based on every pound they spend which can then be used to cover bills at dining and drinking spots across Bristol and Bath as well as other online experiences (which refresh each month) including car rental marketplace Turo, restaurant meal kits Dispatch, flower delivery Freddie’s Flowers, digital detox cabins Unplugged and meal-prep service Lion’s Prep.

Points earned don’t expire or require any activations, coupons or pre-bookings and users can simply use the app when they want to use their points to cover bills.

Users have the option of a free of paid membership (£15 per month) with the later offering a higher point earn rate per £1 (5 points instead of 1), 10,000 welcome points, worldwide travel insurance and a metal card.

“Too many rewards credit cards out there offer the same thing; dull cashback deals or stuffy perks that are hard to earn or don’t feel like they fit with modern life. Ours are designed to help people to discover great things to eat, drink and do in their city, and both cities are home to so many brilliant independent restaurants, cafes and bars. Ultimately we want to help people to unlock more value from their spending, and to be able to reward themselves with the best that Bristol and Bath have to offer.”
